Mango (Buddha Hand) Vodka

DIY flavored vodka is easy and if you every wonder what to do with winters seasonal gift of Buddha Hands (Citron) we have the perfect answer for you, of course it includes mangoes!



Mango (Buddha Hand) Vodka

Use semi-firm mangoes for best results.
Makes about 1 liter

1 buddha hand citron, chopped into small pieces
1 semi firm but ripe mango, cubed
1 liter of good vodka


Combine the Buddha hand, mango and vodka in a large mason jar or any jar or plastic container with a lid. Let the mixture stand in a cool, dark place for about 7-10 days. Shake the jar every few days. Once complete strain the mixture into a jar of bottle and discard the solids. ( You can use the mango cubes as cocktail garnishes.)

Store in the refrigerator up to 2 months.
